The 31st meeting of the Council of Permanent Representatives of ECO Cultural Institute was held at the headquarters of this organization.
According to ECI public relations, the meeting was held on May 4, 2020 and was attended by permanent representatives of the member countries from Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Pakistan.
At the meeting organized while strictly complying with hygiene protocols, Sarvar Bakhti, the ECI president, deliberated upon ECI's achievements and activities and while pointing to the specific world condition due to COVID-19, he talked about holding some programs online.
Another issue discussed at the 31st ECI-CPR meeting was the ECI budget for the year 2020. Moreover, holding online ECI-CPR meetings through video conference in case of the continuation or another outbreak of flu or COVID-19 was emphasized.
Council of Permanent Representatives is comprised of the ambassadors and representatives of ECI member countries that convene regularly to review and endorse cultural activities of this international organization.
