A mural on one of the buildings in the Kazakh city of Nur-Sultan portrays Abai's picture.
According to ECI public relations quoting 24.kz, on the occasion of the 175th anniversary of the birth of Abai Kunanbayev, the great Kazakh poet and the founder of Kazakhstan's written literature, a mural of the great poet was portrayed on one of the huge buildings of Nur-Sultan. The measure was taken with the support of Baikonur municipality.
Earlier, another painting was drawn elsewhere in the city to appreciate the efforts made by Kazakh physicians in their fight against COVID-19.
