'Hayat-i Hayvanat', an ancient manuscript written in Egypt during the 14th century, was unveiled at the Manuscripts and Rare Books Section of the National Library of Kazakhstan Academy.
According to ECI public relations quoting Kazpravda.kz, the book has been donated to the Library in 2018 by Alikhan Baymenov, chairman of the religious committee of the city of Astana.
The press service of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan announced that the book is a scientific zoological research written back in the 14th century in Egypt by the famous scientist Abu Baka Kamaluddin Muhammad ibn Musa Isa ibn Ali in Arabic language and Naskh script. Later in 1900, the book was republished in Kazan by the Imperial University publishing house.
'Hayat-i Hayvanat' has been restored at the Manuscripts section of the National Library of Kazakhstan and was unveiled online.
