The International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) has nominated Jamshid Khanian among the nominees for 2022 Hans Christian Andersen Award.
According to ECI public relations quoting IRNA, the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) has listed 9 reasons justifying Jamshid Khanian's nomination for the Hans Christian Andersen Award 2020. IBBY is of the opinion that Khanian's works and his continuous contribution to the literature of children and young adults has promoted the level of the audience's literary literacy and aesthetic outlook and has also helped improve the quality of this literary genre.
The Hans Christian Andersen Award is the highest international recognition given to an author and an illustrator of children's books. Given every other year by IBBY, the Hans Christian Andersen Award recognizes lifelong achievement and are presented to an author and an illustrator whose complete works have made an important, lasting contribution to children's literature.
