Gurbanguly Berdimukhamedov, Turkmenistan President, signed a decree awarding Ozodbek Nazarbekov, Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan, the title of 'Honored Artist of Turkmenistan'.
According to ECI public relations quoting Turkmenistan the Golden Age, Ozodbek Nazarbekov was given the title due to his great merits in strengthening friendly, fraternal, good-neighbourly and partnership relations between the two countries, promoting long-term Turkmen-Uzbek cultural and humanitarian cooperation, as well as his achievements in the development of professional musical skills.
It is worth mentioning that Ozodbek Nazarbekov was appointed as Uzbekistan's minister of culture in January 2020 and is at the same the president of Yunus Rajabi Music University.
