A Tajik scholar has joined the Russian Academy of Sciences.
According to ECI public relations quoting Khovar news agency of Tajikistan, Bazar Safar Aliyev, the Tajik researcher who is currently working at Chelyabinsk State Academy of Culture and Arts, will join the Russian Academy of Sciences as permanent member.
Dr. Safar Aliyev was born in 1956 in Yavan city of Tajikistan. Having finished his studies at faculty of culture of Moscow city, Aliyev served as professor of Tajikistan art university named after Mirzo Tursunzoda. In 1981, he defended his thesis titled 'The Formation and Development of Cultural and Epistemological System in Tajikistan' in Moscow. At the initiative of this Tajik scholar, a great Norouz celebration was held in Chelyabinsk city in 2008. This scholar has so far published 9 scholarly treaties, 3 educational instructions and more than 80 scholarly papers.
Moreover, several students have defended their dissertations under his supervision.
