The Russian TV channel 'Kultura' is making a documentary on the life of the Turkmens in Stavropol, Russia.
According to ECO Cultural Institute quoting turkmenportal.com, in order to study the life, customs and traditions of Stavropol Turkmens, the program 'The Land of the People' of 'Culture' TV channel has traveled to this region. They are supposed to makes films on life in Turkmen, Blagodar and Neftikum regions.
Representative of the National Organization of Stavropol Turkmens, Is'haq Mohammadov, said that the movie contains beautiful and informative scenes. The network also has decided to make a trilogy of this documentary series. Earlier, the network had made separate films on the life of the Greeks and the Nogians in this country.
The project 'The Land of the People' will cover lives of the Russian minorities and has so far produced 22 films on the minorities of Altai, Kuban, Kamchatka, Dagestan, Buryatia and Kuril of Russia.
