Uzbekistan Cultural Week will be held in Russia.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting uz.sputniknews.ru, the subject was raised during a meeting held between Botirjon Asadov, Uzbekistan Ambassador to Russia and Russian Deputy Minister of Culture, Ella Manilova. At the meeting, it was also decided that Uzbekistan stand will also be mounted at the exhibition of National Economic Achievements of Russia which will be visited by Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The parties also agreed upon organizing a music program, a conference, a round table focusing on the cultural unity of the two countries, and also mounting a photo exhibition within the framework of a cultural week.
The two sides considered the measure significant in light of the 150th anniversary of the Russian Orthodox Church in Uzbekistan, which will be celebrated in 2021. The Russian Cultural Week will be held in Uzbekistan this year.
