Dombra National Day Observed in Kazakhstan
In Yanaykino village of Bayterek district in western Kazakhstan, a sculpture of Dombra, a Kazakh musical instrument, was installed.

According to ECO Cultural Institute quoting inform.kz, the sculpture was installed on the occasion of National Dombra Day in Kazakhstan with the support of the directors of the Doysin and Atip agricultural complexes. The sculpture has been made by Ruslan Ahmedov, a teacher in Chagan village.
Dombra is the world-renowned, national symbol of Kazakh culture and every Kazakh knows how to play this instrument. Moreover, the instrument is available in all Kazakh homes. This instrument evokes the resonance of the Kazakh plains and has been acknowledged as a symbol of the rich history and civilization of the Kazakh people. Dombra Day is celebrated in Kazakhstan to revive national values.
