On Wednesday, August 5, 2020, the President of ECO Cultural Institute, Sarvar Bakhti, visited the huge Abbasabad arts, culture and tourism complex at the invitation of Seyed Mohammad Hossein Hejazi, CEO of Abbasabad Renovation Company.
According to ECO Cultural Institute, Sarvar Bakhti, Mohammad Hossein Hejazi and several managers of Abbasabad complex, which is the international tourism hub of Tehran, visited the Water and Fire Park, Gonbad-e Mina, Norouz Park and ECO Park.
According to the same report, during a meeting held on the sidelines of the visit, the CEO of Abbasabad Renovation Company welcomed the president of ECO Cultural Institute and highlighted the capacities of the two organizations focusing on tourism. He further called for the expansion of international cooperation between the two sides.
Moreover, Hejazi made some suggestions on joint cooperation which were welcomed by Sarvar Bakhti. These suggestions included organizing arts and cultural exhibitions, holding cultural weeks of ECO member states and literature and poetry nights at the Poetry and Literature House, as well as more participation of ECO member states in ECO Park. While expressing his gratitude for the invitation of the CEO of Abbasabad Renovation Company,the ECl president reiterated that he will do his best so that the ECO countries could make maximum use of the arts, cultural and tourism capacities of such an organization that has international standards.
The meeting concluded with both sides agreeing upon the expansion of joint cooperation for the promotion of virtual tourism of the ECO countries during the Corona virus pandemic. They further announced their readiness to conclude and sign a memorandum of joint cooperation in the near future.
