With a felicitation message, Tajikistan’s President congratulated his Iranian counterpart on the arrival of Eid al-Adha.
According to ECO Cultural Institute quoting Fars News agency in Dushanbe, Tajikistan’s President, Emomali Rahmon in a message felicitated his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani on the advent of Eid al-Adha. The message reads:
Dear Dr. Hassan Rouhani,
Esteemed President of the Islamic Republic of Iran
Greetings
Please accept our sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
I wholeheartedly wish you health, prosperity and fresh achievements and also sustainable security and stability, progress, and prosperity, for the Iranian people.
I take this opportunity to express my strong determination for the advancement of all types of joint collaborations to expand and strengthen constructive cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran.
I trust that the main traditions of Eid al-Adha, which are rooted in the deep values of humanity, will further expand bonds of friendship and brotherhood as well as virtues such as understanding and support among our peoples in the future. Needless to say these bonds and virtues are rooted in the spiritual commonalities of our nations.
I am also confident that we will proudly overcome the current threats, and from now on, we will increase our joint efforts to achieve the lofty goals of ensuring the welfare and development of the Muslim community.
