The director general of the governor's office for women and family affairs announced holding of the first international photo exhibition titled 'Children and the World Heritage City' in Yazd.
According to ECO Cultural Institute quoting the Public Relations Department of Yazd Governorate office, Fatemeh Danesh Yazdi stated: "The first international photo exhibition titled 'Children and the World Heritage City' by the Yazd Provincial Office for Women and Family Affairs - as the national contact point of the convention of the Rights of the Child- will be held in October 2020 in Yazd".
While saying that five international judges will attend the event, she added: "Necessary correspondence has been made with the Ministry of Justice for the implementation of this program and due to corona virus pandemic, the event will be held virtually".
Danesh Yazdi further added: "The exhibit will feature pictures of children received from 220 child-friendly cities, and UNICEF is also going to publish the selected pictures in a book."
