Italy to Host Exhibition of Turkmenistan's Archaeological Artifacts
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov voiced a proposal to organize an exhibition in Italy with archaeological artifacts from Margiana and Ancient Parthia during a telephone conversation with Italian leader Sergio Mattarella.

According to ECO Cultural Institute quoting turkmenportal.com, the exhibition "Margiana - the kingdom of the Bronze Age on the territory of Turkmenistan" was already held in Germany, but the idea of organizing an exposition of artifacts of ancient Parthia has not yet been implemented in Europe.
The Turkmen leader stressed that Italy and Turkmenistan have a rich historical and cultural heritage, which provides good prerequisites for deepening a fruitful dialogue, which includes regular holding of various events, as well as many years of work of Italian specialists on a number of architectural monuments of our country.
It was noted that this activity, which should be further developed consistently, is carried out within the framework of relevant bilateral agreements with the leading scientific and educational centers of Italy: the University of Bologna and the Turin Center for Archaeological Research and Excavations.
