A series of online training workshops in the field of written heritage was held for the first time by the ECO Cultural Institute and Allameh Tabatabai University from July 30 to August 27, 2020.
According to ECO Cultural Institute, ECI held a series of online training workshops in cooperation with Allameh Tabatabai University in the field of written heritage. At the opening of the program held on Thursday, July 30, 2020, Sarvar Bakhti, the President of the ECO Cultural Institute; Dr. Nematollah Iranzadeh, chancellor of the Faculty of Literature of Allameh Tabatabai University, and Dr. Mandana Tishehyar, Director of International Academic Cooperation of Allameh Tabatabai University participated.
During the free online workshops, professors such as Dr. Saeed Anwari, Dr. Abdollah Albogish and Dr. Seyed Mohammad Sadeq Ebrahimian deliberated upon topics such as 'An Introduction to Historical Documents and Diplomatics', 'Sigillography and Stamping in Historical Documents and Manuscripts', 'Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature' and 'Practical Techniques for Correcting Manuscripts'. Workshop participants included scholars and university professors from Afghanistan, Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Iraq, India, Pakistan, Canada and Netherlands.
The workshops intended to add to the knowledge and skills of those interested in the field of written heritage in the region and to make optimal use of opportunities offered by cyberspace in the field of distance education.
