Iranian Handicrafts & Tourism Exhibition Opens in Ashgabat
Attended by the cultural attaches of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Afghanistan and Azerbaijan, the exhibition of Iranian handicrafts and tourism was inaugurated in Ashgabat by Iran Cultural Center in Ashgabat.

According to ECO Cultural Institute quoting the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, on the occasion of the World Tourism Day and the beginning of tourism week in Iran, the exhibition of Iran's handicrafts and tourism was inaugurated with the participation of cultural attaches from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Azerbaijan, representatives of Turkmen tourism companies and Turkmen enthusiasts.
The exhibit opened with speeches by Abbas Arbab Khales, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkmenistan, and Reza Khanian, Iranian Cultural Advisor in Turkmenistan. At the event, some video clips of Iran and Turkmenistan tourism attractions and handicrafts were screened and some Turkmens also presented papers on tourist attractions and handicrafts of Iran and Turkmenistan.
It is worth mentioning that the exhibition displayed various Iranian handicrafts such as inlaid turquoise, enamel and inlay work, pottery, tilework, miniature paintings, engraving, glasswork as well as pictures of our Iran's tourist spots. 
The exhibition runs for a week at Iran's Cultural Center in Ashgabat.
