Sarvar Bakhti Visits Iran's Research Institute of Traditional Arts
At the invitation of Dr. Sayed Abdul Majid Sharifzadeh, the General Manager of the Research Institute of Traditional Arts of the Research Institute for Cultural Heritage and Tourism, Sarvar Bakhti, the ECI president, visited Iran's Research Institute of Traditional Arts on September 27, 2020.

According to ECO Cultural Institute, at the sidelines of the visit, a meeting was held with several directors of the Research Institute. At this meeting, Sarvar Bakhti elaborated upon the potentials of the Traditional Arts Research Institute and proposed holding virtual exhibitions using ECI's platform for displaying the traditional arts of the ECO region, which was warmly received by the directors of the Research Institute of Traditional Arts.
Next, Dr. Sharifzadeh, General Manager of the Research Institute of Traditional Arts of the Research Institute for Cultural Heritage and Tourism, welcomed Sarvar Bakhti's views and proposals and expressed readiness to cooperate with ECI for organizing traditional art exhibitions, workshops, webinars and specialized meetings and said: "Paying attention to traditional arts will contribute to the growth and progress of the peoples of the ECO region."
Further, the two sides discussed ways of conducting joint research projects and publishing books of artworks created by the artists of the ECO region.
Furthermore, Sarvar Bakhti, the ECI president, and the General Manager of the Research Institute of Traditional Arts of the Research Institute for Cultural Heritage and Tourism, visited different parts of the Institute including different workshops of pottery, embroidery, engraving, inlay, mosaic, Khatam, musical instruments making, miniature, calligraphy, etc., wherein authentic works of art are created as per the principles derived from research works conducted on different historical eras.
