The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Chingiz Aidarbekov, held a videoconference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Hanif Atmar.
According to ECO Cultural Institute quoting manas.news, in the format of videoconferencing, negotiations were held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov and his colleague from the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Hanif Atmar.
During the talks, topical issues on the agenda of Kyrgyz-Afghan relations, including projects to support Afghan Kyrgyz in the Big and Small Pamirs, were discussed. In addition, the parties exchanged views on the further development of infrastructure projects and regional integration.
Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ch.Aidarbekov expressed support for the intra-Afghan reconciliation process launched in September 2020 in Doha and expressed hope for its advancement in order to achieve peace in Afghanistan and strengthen regional security in general.
