Int'l, Virtual Conference ‘Effects of Coronavirus on Cultural Heritage'
The Executive Secretary of the National Conference " Effects of Coronavirus on Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Creative Cultural Industries" that the conference has been rescheduled and the deadline for the submission of abstracts and papers to the conference has been extended.

According to ECO Cultural Institute, quoting the public relations of the Research Institute for Cultural Heritage and Tourism, Mostafa Asadzadeh said: "Considering the importance and dimensions of Coronavirus pandemic and its consequences that should be taken into account from different aspects with scientific approaches, the event's date has been rescheduled for February 17, 2020."
Adding that this national conference will be held virtually, he stated that those interested may submit paper abstracts till November 5 and full papers until December 5 to the email address of the scientific secretariat of the conference.
According to Alireza Hassanzadeh, the scientific Secretary of the conference, the conference will be held in cooperation with " Research Institute for Cultural Heritage and Tourism", " Research Center for Culture, Art and Communications" and "Social Sciences Research Institute of Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies" with a specialized approach. He went on saying that so far, 33 sessions have been held within the framework of this conference with 55 lectures in which specialists and professors from universities, research centers and institutes were present including the Faculties of Social Sciences, Iranian Anthropological Association, Tehran Intangible Heritage Center, Faculty of Social Sciences of Allameh Tabatabai University, School of Medicine of Mazandaran University, Vice Chancellor for Technology, Conservation and Restoration Research Institute, Tourism Research Institute and the Traditional Arts Research Group of the Research Institute for Cultural Heritage and Tourism as well as the Social Studies Research Institute of the Ministry of Science.
Pointing out that at least 20 more sessions will be held the outcomes of which will comprise the conference proceedings, Hassanzadeh added: "The ECO Cultural Institute, Academy of Arts, National Museum of Iran, ICOM, and several other universities and scientific research institutes will soon collaborate with the three research institutes organizing lectures and scientific conferences."
"Proceedings of the series of lectures will be published in cooperation with the three research institutes and access the audio and video files of the conference sessions will be made available on February 17, 2021, the conference date."
