The international meeting to commemorate Allameh Iqbal Lahori will be held virtually by the ECO Cultural Institute and Allama Tabatabai University on November 09, 2020.
According to ECO Cultural Institute, the virtual meeting will be opened by the remarks of Sarvar Bakhti, ECI President; Rahim Hayat Qureshi, Ambassador of Pakistan to Iran, and Dr. Nematollah Iranzadeh, dean of the Faculty of Literature and Foreign Languages of Allama Tabatabai University.
According to this report, Dr. Narges Jaberi Nasab, a Professor at Allameh Tabatabai University; Dr. Faeezah Zehra Mirza, a Professor at Karachi University, and Mr. Mohammad Afsar Rahbin, an Iqbal scholar and the director of Afghanistan National Archives, are other speakers of this international webinar that will investigate Allama Iqbal's Persian and Urdu and the position of his thoughts and ideas in the countries of the ECO region.
The virtual meeting will be held on November 9, 2020 concurrent with the 143th birth anniversary of Allama Iqbal at 12:00 p.m. Tehran time.
