A Phenomenal Success for Afghan and Iranian Students at WRICOS 2020
The Silk-Road Universities Network (SUN) announced the winners of the WRICOS Poetry and Essay Writing contest on "The Wisdom of the Silk Road for the Survival of Civilization" in the poetry category and "The Silk Road Reconnects" in the essay writing category.

The WRICOS Contests are organized annually by the SUN Secretariat in South Korea, and in its fourth round which took place in the spring of 2020, 92 participants from 15 countries submitted their writings to the Secretariat. The submissions, which should be written in the writers` own native languages, covered a range of approximately fourteen living languages across the world, which is a testament to the importance and geographical and cultural coverage of the contest.
In WRICOS 2020, the winners were from Mongolia, Greece, the United Kingdom, Afghanistan, and Iran. The winners of the 4th edition of Ricoz Contests in the poetry category are Mara Diakaki from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, Batzurig Tortagtech from the National University of Mongolia, and Colin Tan Jenneigh from the University of Malaya, England. Also, in the essay writing category, the winners are Tavashinko Akhor from the National University of Mongolia, Shahrbanu Shams from the University of Herat, Afghanistan, and Alireza Khosrozadeh from Allameh Tabataba'i University, Iran.
