Iran-Azerbaijan Officials Consult for Philosophical Cooperation
Iran's Cultural Attaché to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ghorbanali Pourmarjan, and Vice President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Ghabel Jamalzadeh, stressed the importance of expanding bilateral philosophical cooperation.

According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting the Public Relations Department of Islamic Culture and Relation Organization (ICRO), in the meeting between Iran's Cultural Attaché to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ghorbanali Pourmarjan, and Vice President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Ghabel Jamalzadeh, both sides highlighted the importance of Islamic philosophy in the contemporary world and the interaction of Iranian and Azerbaijani philosophical centers.
Ghabel Jamalzadeh praised the growth of Islamic studies in Iran and called for the exchange of professors and research scholars in this field. He added that in both ancient and modern sciences, Islamic philosophy and mathematics, there are many valuable manuscripts in Iranian centers that can be used to introduce Islamic science to the world.
In this meeting, the cooperation of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences with Iranian educational centers like the Association of Philosophy and Wisdom and universities and seminaries in Qom were emphasized to introduce Islamic philosophy to the world.
