Website launched “newturkishfilms.com“for the promotion of Turkish cinema in the professional field.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute quoting Persian TRT, The ‘New Turkish Films' website, which was launched by the Professional Association of Film Producers (SEYAP) with the support of the General Directorate of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was established as an initiative of the program "Festivals in Istanbul ".
On the website, which was prepared entirely in English in order to increase the visibility of new Turkish films on international platforms; films shot in Turkey are presented archived according to the year of their production.
In this way, it is intended to keep a careful recording of films made in Turkish cinema and serve as a portal that the international sector needs.
The site, which contains information on the latest Turkish film productions in English, is also intended to be an intermediary for international collaborations.
In order to represent all the colors and diversity of Turkish cinema, the site is open to all producers and directors who want to participate in the "Festivals in Istanbul" program.
