In a major development, Pakistan Post climbed 27 places to 67th in the 2020 Postal Development Report provided by the World Postal Union (UPU).
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting postal development in 2020, Pakistan Post has risen from 94th to 67th place with 39.36 points and 27 steps. This is while the country's post in 2016 ranked 94th with 29 points.

Ranking is based on the best services, assurance of service quality, accessibility, hard work and purposefulness. This analysis is based on the Integrated Postal Development Index, which provides a wide range of postal data from countless sources to offer an accurate picture of postal development in 170 countries.

Switzerland tops the list, followed by Austria, Germany, the Netherlands and Japan, while Mozambique, Haiti and Mali are at the bottom of the list.
It is worth mentioning that Pakistan Post has a brilliant record in providing services to its people. For example, this post has launched a postal export service called "EMS Plus" for merchants to easily send their goods to foreign countries within 72 hours at the lowest possible rate.
