Tajikistan's Deputy Foreign Minister met with the newly appointed representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Tajikistan to discuss increased co-operation in the fight against Coronavirus.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting Fars News Agency in Dushanbe, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseynzoda received Victor Olsavszky the WHO newly appointed Representative to the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the meeting the sides exchanged views on cooperation between Tajikistan and the WHO, including the prevention and control of the spread of coronavirus disease.
It is worth mentioning that Bakhtigul Koriovo the former representative of the WHO in Dushanbe, contracted the Coronavirus disease and left the country at the end of last year.
