Azerbaijan-Iran to Expand Philosophical Cooperation
Ghabel Jamalzadeh, deputy of the Institute of Philosophy of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences, met with Ghorban Ali Pourmarjan, Iran’s cultural counselor in Baku, to expand the philosophical activities of the two countries.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting the public relations of the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication, in this meeting, the issue of Islamic philosophy and the need to pay attention to it in the contemporary world and the interaction of Iranian and Azerbaijani philosophical institutions were emphasized.
Ghabel Jamalzadeh praised the growth of Islamic philosophy in Iran and called for the exchange of professors in this regard.
He said: "In the field of ancient and modern sciences, Islamic philosophy and mathematics, there are many treasures in the form of manuscripts in Iran that can be used to introduce Islamic scientific treasures to the world".
