Senior Kyrgyz and French officials meet in Bishkek to discuss strengthening bilateral co-operation.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting Fars News Agency in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Deputy Foreign Minister Azizbek Madmarov met with François Delaus, Chargé d'Affaires of the French Embassy in Bishkek.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Kyrgyz Deputy Foreign Minister congratulated Delaus on his appointment and wished him success in his work.
Referring to the latest situation in Kyrgyzstan, Madmarov stressed the importance of political events, the current activities of the leadership and executive officials, all of which are aimed at solving socio-economic problems and fighting the Coronavirus and other tasks.
Delaus also expressed support for the political process in Kyrgyzstan, stressing the importance of Kyrgyzstan’s next path to democratic development.
The two sides discussed a wide range of issues in Kyrgyz-French bilateral relations, as well as the prospects for further development of political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
