Turkish weightlifter Daniyar Ismayilov, won gold medal and broke a European snatch record at the European Weightlifting Championships in Russia.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting Anadolu News Agency, Daniyar Ismayilov, the Turkish athlete, won the European Championship by winning two gold medals at the European Weightlifting Championships in Moscow, Russia.
The 29-year-old Turkish weightlifter competed in the men’s 73kg weight class. He broke the European snatch record and won the gold medal by lifting 160 kilograms.
Ismayilov who lifted 181 kg in the clean & jerk, won gold with a total of 341 kg to become European champion.
