In order to mark the 6th Congress on Information Science Specialists, the first National Noushafarin Ansari Award entitled “Librarian of the Year” will honor the active librarian who has provided outstanding services to this field.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, the Scientific Committee of the National Awards has considered the following factors to evaluate the activities and achievements of the nominees for this award:
Launching and participating in voluntary activities in the field of books, libraries and book reading
Launching and participating in educational and teaching activities in the field of books, libraries and book reading (including holding classes and workshops for people).
Launching and participating in innovative, effective activities in the field of books, libraries and book reading
Launching and participating in activities related to attracting cultural capital in the field of books, libraries and reading (including documentary reports related to attracting audiences, attracting the cooperation of managers and using material and spiritual capital to promote reading and library development).
Candidates can submit the required information and documents until April 20, 2021 through the form available on the website of the Congress. The final evaluation will be carried out by the jury after passing the initial evaluation of the Scientific Committee of National Awards. After achieving the required points, the Librarian of the Year will be introduced and honored at the end of the Congress.
