Book Week has been celebrated in Badghis province in the northwest of Afghanistan.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting Bakhtar News Agency; in a ceremony held on this occasion, the Director of Culture and Tourism of the Badghis Department of Information and Culture spoke about the importance of reading books, and called for the promotion of book reading among the youth.
At the event, speakers spoke about the benefits of reading and its importance, and described the habit of reading as the only way to development.
