Well-Known Afghan Writer Passes Away
Famous Afghan writer Nasir Ahmad Ahmadi has died due to illness, officials in the Ministry of Information and Culture confirm.
According to ECI and quoting Bakhtar news Agency, Nasir Ahmad Ahmadi was a resident of Qarabagh district in country’s southern province has written dozens of novels, short stories and biographies of famous writers. Baghdadi Pir was of his most famous novels. He had worked for media since 2003 and possessed a new style in artistic prose.
The leadership of MOIC considers the death of Ahmadi as a loss for contemporary Afghan fiction.
