Uzbekistan- International Conference «Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities», is to be held on July 15-16, 2021, in Tashkent.
According to ECO Cultural Institute, quoting Farce news Agency in Tashkent, the conference is an initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. It is expected that President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani, Ministers from Central Asian, West Asian and South Asian countries, and delegates from over 40 countries and about 30 international organizations will participate in the conference.
The conference aims at strengthening the historically close and friendly ties between the peoples of Central and South Asia in order to improve the living standards and welfare of the population of the two regions.
