As agreed by the members of the Tehran City Council, a street in the capital city of Iran will be named after Touran Mirhadi in honor of her services as the mother of Iranian children and adolescent literature. The City Council unanimously agreed with the decision.
Mirhadi worked for more than sixty years in the field of children's education, culture and literature, and has been one of the influential figures of the current century in Iran.
