Some students at the Youth Library in Baku wrote a summary of the biography of the prominent Iranian poet of Azeri origin Mohammad-Hossein Shahriyar under the title "The Pride of Iran and the East" for the enthusiasts of Persian-Azeri culture and literature.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting Tajik Radio, the Voice of Khorasan, those interested in Iran-Azerbaijan common culture held a virtual exhibition by sharing valuable images and works of this prominent poet.
"The biography and works of this Iranian poet, who is the pride of Iran and the world, provide valuable information for the audience," said Gunay Hasanova, head of public relations at the Youth Library in Baku.
In this virtual meeting, some of Shahriar's poems were recited by the participants, which were welcomed by the audience.
According to the head of the National Library of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the cooperation between the libraries of the two countries is expanding in the fields of digitization of documents, restoration of books and manuscripts.
