The Director of Information and Culture of Herat emphasized on accelerating the process of repairing and improving the shrine of Imam Fakhruddin Razi.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting Bakhtar News Agency; Abdul Tawab Mobarez, Herat's director of information and culture, said the project includes restoring the porch, paving the courtyard, decorating the tomb with inscriptions and reviving the wall surrounding the pilgrimage site while preserving its architectural originality and historical antiquity.
The project of repairing and improving the shrine of Imam Fakhreddin Razi began last year with the financial cooperation of the Tika office and the supervision of the Department of Preservation and Restoration of Historical Monuments of the Herat Department of Information and Culture.
