The Kyrgyz ambassador to Ankara attended the 16th Ecotourism and Sustainable Tourism Conference in Turkey.
In order to promote economic diplomacy, Kyrgyzstan's Ambassador to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev attended the 16th Conference on "Ecotourism and Sustainable Tourism" organized by the International Ecotourism Association and Workshop Travel shop held in the Turkish city of Tokat, participated.
At the opening of the meeting, Omuraliev showed a video on the situation and potential of tourism and ecotourism in Kyrgyzstan, showing examples such as cycling, hiking and mountaineering, skiing, jilo-tourism and medical tourism.
According to international experts' assessments for 2019, 2020 and 2021, Kyrgyzstan is among the top 10 countries on the ecotourism list.
Inviting participants to the conference in Kyrgyzstan, Omuraliev expressed readiness to help establish contacts between ecotourism operators.
He encouraged investors to invest in the country's tourism industry, citing its great potential for ecotourism and business conditions.
Representatives of travel companies from Turkey, the United States, India, Pakistan, Iran and other countries have expressed interest in touring their country.
