The Invincible Spirit of Artists Never Gives up
The 2nd "Hima Nakh-o Negareh" exhibition was inaugurated on Friday, September 10, 2021 with the opening remarks of Sarvar Bakhti, President of the ECO Cultural Institute at Niavaran Cultural Center.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, at the beginning of his speech, Sarvar Bakhti congratulated the opening of the 2nd exhibition of "Hima Nakh-o Negareh", held in cooperation with the ECO Cultural Institute, Hima Institute and Niavaran Cultural Center, and emphasized: "The history of clothing is the reflection of beliefs and values of every nation."
He added: "The common aspect of ECO clothing is that it is woven by the miraculous hand of an artist or several artists in an area."
He pointed out that the place where the work is created might be different, but the main message of the artists is almost unanimously coming out of each piece of the art reminding us that we are of a common origin.
Stating that one of the most vivid element of the culture and civilization of a nation is clothing, he noted: "The history of clothing acquaints us with its process of evolution as well as the styles and trends and reflects beliefs, values, ideas, manners, and mores and all aspects of social status of people who lived in different eras."
At the end of his speech, the president of the ECO Cultural Institute said: "Art continues as life does and economic problems cannot deter its natural and ever-growing process." There may be problems for artists, but the unbreakable spirit of an artist never gives into the hardships of the times."
