Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Ibrahim Dzhunusov visited Andijan, Namangan and Fergana regions of Uzbekistan on March 1-2.
The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Uzbekistan reported that during the visit the Ambassador met Deputy Hokim of Andijan region Kholmatov, Hokim of the city of Andijan Rakhmatullaev, Hokim of Namangan region Bozarov and Hokim of Fergana region Ganiev. At the meeting, issues of further expansion of interaction between the border areas of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, including by increasing the range and volume of mutual trade, creating joint ventures, as well as enhancing cultural and humanitarian cooperation were discussed.
The ambassador also familiarized himself with the progress of implementation of programs intended for improvement of villages and mahallas, visited insulin and syringes production plants Zamin Bio Health and Makro Farm in Andijan region, silkworm cocoons enterprise Sof Ipak Invest and clothing factory IDEAL in Namangan region, a knitwear factory in Fergana region.
