The 13th Tashkent International Film Festival "Pearl of the Silk Road" has dedicated a special section to the Iranian cinema.
"Barg-e Jan" directed by Ebrahim Mokhtari, "Madari" directed by Roghayeh Tavakoli, "Villayee ha" directed by Monir Gheidi, "That Night’s Train" directed by Hamid Reza Ghotbi, "Mordeh khor" directed by Sadegh Daghighi, "Sara and Aida" directed by Maziar Miri and "Masir Ma’koos" directed by Abolfazl Jalili will be screened in the special section of the Tashkent Film Festival, which is dedicated to reviewing contemporary Iranian cinema (entitled Iranian Cinema Days).
Some of the directors of the mentioned films will take part in the Tashkent festival in person.
The 13th Tashkent International Film Festival will take place from September 28 to October 3, 2021.
