A group of professors in the field of civilization and history visited the ECO Cultural Institute on June 2, 2022.
According to the ECI public relations, in line with the bilateral cooperation between the Institute and academic institutions, ECI hosted a group of professors in the field of civilization and history.
At this cordial meeting, Dr. Fouzia Farooq Ahmed, Professor of Qaed Azam University of Pakistan; Dr. Ali Ergun Cinar, Professor at Istanbul University; Dr. AbuBakir Dewanahamad Hasan, Professor at Soran University in Iraq and Dr. Abbas Khamees Abbood, Lecturer at Qadisiyah University in Iraq appreciated ECI for holding this meeting and said: "Such meetings in the field of cultural cooperation with researchers and writers are encouraging."
The group of professors visited the lithographic books available in the ECI library and explored possibilities of cooperation in exchange of books and manuscripts, publishing the works of writers with topics related to cultural commonalities.
At the end of the meeting, some gifts were presented to the visitors by the ECI.
It is worth mentioning that the professors were the participants of the conference " Iran and Central Asia in the Mirror of Tangible and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Mongol and Ilkhanid Era, alongside of the Silk Road ", held on June 1,2022, organized by the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of I.R. Iran, supported by ECI and the International Institute for Central Asian Studies (IICAS).
