In September 2022, the "International Ceramic Forum and Exhibition and Sale of Ceramic Products" will be held in the Rishtan district of the Fergana region. This event will be organized in accordance with the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan “On holding the International Ceramic Forum and Exhibition and Sale of Ceramic Products” from 23 August 2021.
The purpose of the forum is to widely promote at the international level the traditions of pottery that have been forming in the country since ancient times, crafts that are an important branch of the world economy, the preservation of traditions and schools of pottery, the expansion of scientific research in this area, the exchange of experience, the creation of new jobs and the stimulation of talented craftsmen. .
Within the framework of the forum, a scientific and practical conference "Preservation and development of traditional ceramics: problems and solutions", competitions of ceramic products, master classes of foreign and domestic masters, folk festivals, a concert program, exhibitions, screenings of art and documentary films about pottery will be held. , excursions to workshops and other events.
Based on the results of the forum, winners and prize-winners will be determined.
