The ECI President expressed his condolences on the death of Afghan citizens in the devastating earthquake in Afghanistan through an official statement to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Tehran.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, Parts of the message read as follows:
“I express my condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased and ask Almighty God patience for the survivors and forgiveness and mercy for the deceased.”
Nearly 3,500 people were killed and injured in the Khost and Paktika earthquakes.
