People's Artist of Turkmenistan Annadurdy Almammedov turns 85 this year. His brush painted hundreds of paintings in different genres - portraits, landscapes, still lifes, decorative sketches. The most important achievement in his work is his own theme of the kingdom of mountains and a peculiar vision of color. Among themselves, colleagues call Annadurdy Almammedov a singer of mountains, because he, like no other Turkmen artist, tirelessly sings of the beauty, power, might and greatness of mountains in his works.
