A park named after the great writer, diplomat and public figure Chyngyz Aitmatov was opened in Ankara on October 8, 2022.
A bust of the writer is installed in the park, with a quote from Aitmatov on a pedestal: “The most difficult thing for a person is to be a Human every day.” In his speech, Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev to the republic of Turkey noted that the opening of the park in the Turkish capital in honor of Aitmatov and the installation of a bust in it is not only a clear confirmation of deep respect for the writer and his memory, but also symbolizes the strong fraternal relations of the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
