Zulfiya Davlatzoda, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, visited the ECO Cultural Institute and met with Murodjon Buriboev, President of ECOCI, on October 4, 2022.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, Zulfiya Davlatzoda, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, paid an official visit to the ECO Cultural Institute on Tuesday afternoon, October 4, 2022, and was welcomed by the ECOCI's President, Murodjon Buriboev, and its staff.
Nizomiddin Zohidi, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Tehran, Mohammad Ali Kiani, director general of cultural cooperation and Iranian expatriates’ affairs department of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization, and Vosif Mehriddinshoev, director of the international relations department of the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan, were also present at the meeting.
Visiting ECOCI's gallery, where photographs and sculptures of Tajik famous figures were on display, and the books published by the institute, as well as handicrafts from ECO member countries, Zulfiya Davlatzoda admired the activities by the ECO Cultural Institute in an effort to elevate the culture of the ECO zone.
In his speech, Murodjon Buriboev, President of ECOCI, presented a report on the activities of the ECOCI in recent years and its plans to introduce the culture of the Republic of Tajikistan. He also appreciated the sincere cooperation of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan with the ECOCI.
In the end, Zulfiya Davlatzoda, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, announced the readiness of this ministry for deep cooperation in the future.
During this meeting, the book Poet of Peace and Friendship was also unveiled. It should be noted that the mentioned book is a collection of speeches by ambassadors, the then president of the ECOCI, and scientists of ECO member countries in the international webinar on the occasion of the 110th birth anniversary of Mirzo Tursunzoda, Tajik poet and national hero, which the ECOCI has published in Persian and English.
