ECI President highlights the importance of strengthening Iran-Tajikistan relations
The President of the ECO Cultural Institute emphasized that the development of cultural relations among Tajikistan, Iran, and other regional countries is inevitable in the current situation.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, Murodjon Buriboev, the ECI President, delivered a speech at the conference held with a focus on thirty years of Iran-Tajikistan relations on November 1, 2022, at Sepehr Conference Hall of Abbasabad Cultural Complex, and emphasized strengthening and expanding cooperation among all ECO member countries, especially Iran and Tajikistan, in the fields of culture and art.
He noted: "There are still several capacities, which have sometimes received little attention. This is while, the world is moving towards further convergence; therefore, it is necessary to make optimal use of these capacities and potentials."
Moreover, Khairiddin Usmonzoda, the head of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Nizomiddin Zohidi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Alireza Delkhush, Director General of the Center for Public Diplomacy and Media of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Abed Akbari, Managing Director of International Studies and Research Institute of Abrar Moaser, and a number of other thinkers also delivered speeches.
The conference was held in cooperation with the International Studies and Research Institute of Abrar Moaser and the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Tehran.
