Turkmen sambists won gold and two bronze medals at the 47th World Championships held in Bishkek. The tournament brought together about 400 athletes from more than 50 countries who competed for the title of the championship in 21 weight categories, in sports and combat sambo. The 24-year-old master of sports from Ashgabat achieved this success in the weight category up to 64 kilograms, in which 18 participants competed for medals. ECI reports, citing Turkmenistan.
