The 30th Book Week of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with the slogan "What we are is what we read", will be held from 12 to 18 Nov 2022 throughout the country. Book Week is a series of ceremonies that have been held every year since 1983 between 1 and 15 Nov under the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran, to promote books and reading. The national campaign "What is the book in your hand?!" started on November 12, on the occasion of the Book Week, with the aim of moving towards transformation in the culture of reading, growth and flourishing of the talents, abilities and knowledge of every human being, by improving the quality of reading. Noteworthy to mention that people interested in books and reading can participate in this national campaign by visiting the website "ketabdc.ir" and sending a short video introducing a book.
