"Food and Culture" festival was held at the ECI's amphitheater on November 17, 2022. The event was held at the request of the Pakistan Embassy International School and College (PEISCT) and through collaboration with the ECO Cultural Institute.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, the festival was inaugurated in the presence of H.E. Rahim Hayat Qureshi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Tehran, Director General of Multilateral and International Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of Afghanistan, the director and staff of the PEISCT, diplomats residing in Tehran, experts from ECO Cultural Institute as well as parents of the students at PEISCT.
Cultural goods, handicrafts, and clothes, specifically from the ECO countries, were exhibited at the festival, and the visitors had the chance to familiarize themselves with the taste of different foods from the participating countries.
