Iran’s rank rose to sixth after getting one boost in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) list of Intangible Cultural Heritage, an Iranian official has announced. After registering its 21st item on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list, Iran was ranked sixth, Mostafa Pourali, General Director of the Office for Inscription of Properties and Revitalization of ICH and Natural Heritage of Iran’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, underlined.
