A senior official at Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has announced her country’s willingness to bolster cultural ties with Iran, including in the field of cinema and film festivals.
Ms. Imrana Wazir, Director General of Pakistan’s Information Ministry Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications, on Wednesday hosted Iranian Cultural Counsellor Ehsan Khazaei in the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad. The two sides discussed cultural ties between Islamabad and Tehran, as well as the latest developments regarding those relations, including agreements reached between culture ministers during a recent meeting in Turkey, Istanbul.
